If you have been traveling on the A2 or A7 recently, you may have already spotted them. These new trailers represent much more than just additional cargo space. They stand for the long-standing and close partnership between us and WAGO, based in Minden. We are particularly pleased to bring this collaboration to the road in such a visible way.

Relocation to modern, new premises

We are pleased to announce the move to our new, modern offices! We are now temporarily in premises that offer our employees more comfort and contemporary facilities: height-adjustable desks, the latest technology and a modern, appealing design create an optimal working environment. The new offices are also located in the immediate vicinity of our warehouse, which makes our workflow more efficient.

Even if this location is an interim solution in the long term, we are delighted with the improved conditions, which will further strengthen our productivity and team spirit.

New warehouse back in operation after renovation

We are pleased to announce that our new warehouse is back in operation after extensive renovation work. The warehouse, which covers an area of 1,430 m2, has been completely modernised to meet the highest standards in terms of safety and efficiency.

Particularly noteworthy are the measures to remove asbestos, which we have successfully completed. These and other extensive renovation works guarantee that our warehouse is now not only safe, but also optimally equipped for the storage and handling of goods.

With the modernised warehouse, we can offer our customers even better and more efficient logistics solutions. We would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and commitment, which has made this successful renovation possible.

New LNG truck for environmentally friendly logistics

An environmentally friendly LNG truck from Iveco joined our fleet in July 2021. This Iveco S-WAY NP 4×2 in the LNG version offers up to 25% lower CO₂ emissions than conventional diesel trucks and sends a clear signal for sustainable logistics.

Equipped with two 540-litre tanks for bio-LNG, our new pace truck offers an impressive range of up to 1,600 kilometres. It scores points not only for its low fuel consumption and uncomplicated single-fuel refuelling, but also for its environmental benefits: Significantly lower nitrogen dioxide and soot emissions as well as up to 95% lower CO₂ emissions compared to diesel.

With the LNG-Iveco, we rely on state-of-the-art technology and sustainable solutions to reduce emissions while maximising efficiency and performance.

Expansion of our fleet: long lorries for greater efficiency

Since May 2021, four type 1 long lorries have strengthened our fleet and set new standards in terms of efficiency. With a capacity of 37 bays, they offer three more bays than conventional standard trailers, which significantly optimises our transport processes.

The new long trailers require tractor units with special technical requirements such as turning assistance systems as well as specially trained drivers to ensure safe and responsible operation. This expansion emphasises our commitment to using the latest technologies to offer our customers even better logistics solutions.

We are pleased to announce that Kannegiesser Spedition GmbH is an official supporter of the prevention work of the German Police Union (GdP). Under the motto ‘Kannegiesser for more safety’, we are actively committed to safety and prevention in our community.

Our support aims to promote important prevention measures in various areas. Whether it is road safety education for children, drug awareness, burglary prevention or other types of police prevention, there is an opportunity to take preventative action in all areas. These measures are crucial to making our community safer and preventing crime.

The police union provides its members, as well as authorities, schools, kindergartens, companies and private individuals, with valuable prevention information via the VERLAG DEUTSCHE POLIZEILITERATUR publishing house. Both the prevention portal PolizeiDeinPartner.de and the publication series ‘Polizei – Dein Partner’ are important components of this prevention work. We are pleased to announce that our employees have successfully completed the training in accordance with Chapter 11.2.3.9 oF the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 and the supplementary national requirements. This training is of great importance for all companies working in the field of aviation security and ensures that our staff is well prepared for the demanding tasks that affect the secure supply chain.

The training is based on the requirements of the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 and the Aviation Security Training Ordinance (LuftSiSchulV). It is mandatory for all persons working for companies in the secure supply chain, including air carriers, regulated agents, regulated suppliers, known consignors and transporters. The training is particularly important for those who have access to identifiable air cargo or air mail, carry out controls or other security measures or are responsible for the implementation of the security programme and is based on the requirements of the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 and the Aviation Security Training Regulation (LuftSiSchulV). It is mandatory for all persons working for companies in the secure supply chain, including air carriers, regulated agents, regulated suppliers, known consignors and transporters. The training is particularly important for those who have access to identifiable air cargo or air mail, carry out checks or other security measures or are responsible for implementing the security programme.
